I do believe that spring is finally starting to stick around. Beautiful 50°F weather with a
breeze coming from the east. It was the first ride that I felt good shedding layers to control my body temps. I cannont wait to be able to ride in short sleeves and shorts. Oh yeah!!! Jacket came off near New Hartford, 15 miles in, and skull cap came off about forty minutes later. Feel the breeze on your head!!! Can you feel my enthusiasm on this?
Kerkove gave me a run down of the
Ouachita-Challenge that he finished tenth overall in on Sunday in Arkansas. Sounds like it was a real good time and I think that I may have to look at going along with the other Iowa boys in 2007.
Basso and
Squirrel faired well also. Good job guys, looks like the Iowa riders did really well overall.
Caught Jeff off guard with the camera today. That doesn't happen much. I am off to
the shop. Huge sale starting tomorrow and there are a few people that are stressing it something fierce. It will all pan out just fine in the long run.
Deer-slayer Rob is going to Fruita and Moab this week. I cannot even begin to express my jealousy. I rode with Rob on his "big-wheel" a couple of days ago and the guy just rides over everything. 29er anyone?
