So I may have made a slight miscalculation with the weather on Tuesday afternoon. When I left work at 3:30pm it was raining and continued to rain all the way home. I decided that I really did not want to get wet and so I opted out of the group ride although, it turns out that the rain was already finished and I could have logged the miles and the intensity. Oh well, move on.

Wednesday was used as a slight makeup for my non-ride on Tuesday. Normally it would be a recovery ride with short bursts of intensity but, I opted for some more hill repeats at Lookout Park aboard my Cannodnale SystemSix Liquigas instead. Still working my legs back into the climbing aspects and getting back into the groove so after Monday's short 5 interval climbs I went with 13 intervals on Wednesday. I need to work my way back to the 30-35 area to get back in my groove. All in due time, should not take long really. I felt fantastic after the ninth time up the hill and I could have kept going but, figures that I should ride smart and not do too much too soon.

Sure hope you are all following the Giro right now because it has been pretty good so far. Different winners each day via group sprints and even small break aways that stay away all day, I love that stuff. Lots of great riders and teams are giving it a go this year so it will not disappoint anyone who is following it. I have been keeping tabs in the mornings through the live updates on CyclingNews through my cell phone. The various video feeds are not compatible with my phone so following along with the text has to do. No real complaints though, the commentators do a fantastic job.

I do of course cheer for the Liquigas and Barloworld teams. I have been a fan of Liquigas since they rode Bianchis and now they are with Cannondale. Barloworld was with Cannondale and now this year they ride Bianchi. Pretty sweet little trade off. I do own two Cannondale road bikes and a Bianchi road bike so it only seems fair.

I take two water bottles to work with me each day to show who the best team is too. They are both covered in decals with these and the Ergon decals taking up the most space.

Make sure that you are checking out Mr. Masini's blog each day too. He has been sharing the wonderful time that he has hanging out with the Liquigas crew in Europe. Great read.
