I take LOTS of photos while cycling. And occasionally I even take a good photo or two. But when riding in Cyclosportives or along famous climbs there are often professional photographers along the route. Need help posing?

Today, Barry, Martin, Fabian Cancellera and I rode the Gruyère Cycling Tour. A stunning 123 kilometres over 3 climbs (Mittelberg, Col du pillon, Col des Mosses) through the Swiss Alps near the medieval perched village of Gruyère. It's a fantastic course.

A pretty epic day! There are loads of truly great climbs in central Switzerland which I have yet to explore. But today I rode two of the highest - amazing.

A beautiful but challenging mountain bike route above Gruyere. And once finished - Starving, Barry and I ordered all-you-can-eat authentic alpine soup from the local chalet restaurant. Barry even offered to cook. Delicious!

The greatest cycling trip of my life. Ten great days cycling in the Alps with great company.

While everyone else took the bus back to Geneva, Doreen and I decided on one last climb - the short, but super steep Col de Pontis.

Day 4 of the Tour d'Enfer was a free day. While many rested their sore legs in the hotel, Ralph and I went to watch the Tour de France climb Col du Galibier.

Day 2 - after the hail, the weather has cleared. Today we cycled Col des Aravis, Col des Saisies, and Cormet de Roselend. I rode mainly with Scott and Ralph - great company.
